Thanks to the cooperation with the Department of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) of Lausanne, Switzerland, CHUV is also a famous medical education and research center. Together, these institutions form a huge campus in the Lake Geneva area.
In the spring of 2021, about 11800 students from Swiss universities and professional colleges surveyed by Universum ranked CHUV first in the classification of 70 companies in the health field. Health professionals surveyed by Universum also rated CHUV as the most attractive employer in Switzerland in this field.
